Khmer Association for Development (KAD) Travel & Tours

We are Khmer Association for Development (KAD), a local Cambodian NGO established and registered with the Council of Minister in 1999 and with the Ministry of Interior in 2004. KAD is now located in Kien Svay district, Kandal province, Cambodia. The purpose of its establishment was to implement four missions including providing the technical and human resource development, implementing the community based project, rescuing the vulnerable people and promoting the respect for the human rights and democracy.

In the past, KAD received funds from Latter-Day Saints Charities, private donors, Australian Embassy, and Women's International Group to support the implementation of some projects including vocational training, self-help community, non-formal education, oral health care and education that focused on all types of people in Kien Svay district. Presently, we are implementing some projects such as oral health care and education, and non-formal education. Some projects like vocational training and self-help community has been terminated.

As we are in need of funds for both our existing and completed projects and planning the new projects in our target area. We have tried very hard to explore the sources of funds through several ways like websites, e-mails, letters, friends and other low-income businesses both in Cambodia and abroad. In order to keep our organization sustainable, our members have contributed their own monetary, labor and material resources to establish travel and tour agency Khmer Association for Development (KAD) TRAVEL & TOURS” whose branch office located at # 262c, St 182 Sangkat Tek la ak III, Toul kok, Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
