Ang Trapeang Thmor Community-Based Ecotourism Site
Location: Banteay Meanchey Province’s Phnom Srok District
Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) is an international NGO whose mission is to save wildlife and wild land. WCS is currently working together with the Royal Government of Cambodia and local communities of Cambodia to promote wildlife conservation through eco-tourism. Ang Trapeang Thmor protected wetland covers 12,650 ha of a man-made reservoir, flooded forests, Phong grasslands, deciduous forests and rice fields and supports a wide range of endangered bird species, especially Black-necked storks, Sarus Cranes and high density of biodiversity.
