Prek Toal and Peak Kantel Community-Based Ecotourism Site
Location: Siem Reap town (Tonle Sap Area) Osmose is a local NGO whose purpose is to facilitate both the conservation of the Tonle Sap lake environment and the sustainable livelihood of the floating villages communities.
Osmose works on four main activities: Ecotourism in Prek Toal and Peak Kantel Water Hyacinth handicraft with 30 women Environmental Education with 1,100 children Poverty reduction and livelihood improvement
Osmose believes that the exceptional environment of the lake is the villager’s main asset for development.
